Originally from Franklin, Louisiana, Chris completed both his undergraduate degree in Business Administration and Law School at LSU before moving to Lafayette in 2006. He began his career practicing with a local law firm where he maintained a general business practice, focused primarily on commercial transactions and business litigation. In May of 2011, Chris joined a statewide title company, managing their Lafayette office and transitioning into the title industry. He has been practicing law for 10 years now and his practice is dedicated entirely to real estate transactions.

Chris is a member of various civic and professional organizations including the Lafayette Chamber of Commerce, REALTOR® Association of Acadiana, Acadiana Mortgage Lenders Association, Acadiana Title Attorneys Association and the Louisiana and Lafayette Bar Associations.

Chris is married to Stephanie Castro Afeman and is the father of three boys, Bennett, Luke, and Andy.
